What is Dermapen Treatment?

Dermapen treatment is an effective skin rejuvenation method that works according to the principle of controlled damage to the skin. It opens micro-holes with minimal damage to the skin surface, thanks to a large number of automatic and vibrating needling at a 90 degree right angle. These opened microholes not only stimulate the synthesis of collagen under the skin, but also allow the subcutaneous absorption of substances applied to the skin to increase 200 times.

FAQ

The micro-channels opened during the application are perceived as damage under the skin. Cells collected in the damaged area secrete various growth factors to ensure healing and regeneration in this area. Secreted growth factors trigger collagen and elastic fiber production. Thus, a bright, vibrant and healthy skin is formed.

After the application area is cleaned and anesthetic cream is applied, micro-channels are opened to the skin surface at an angle of 90 degrees to the skin. Lotions, creams or Skin Rejuvenation Therapy can be applied during or after the procedure to increase regeneration. These products are absorbed into the lower layers of the skin thanks to micro-channels, thus increasing the efficiency of the process. The process takes about 20-30 minutes. 4-6 sessions are recommended at intervals of 4 weeks. Depending on the need, the number of sessions can be increased or combined with other treatment methods.

After application, the skin appears red. In some sensitive skin, it may take 24-48 hours for the redness to subside. It is recommended not to touch water and not to use make-up for 12 hours after the procedure.
